Snowy Happy Holidays

July 20th, 2008

Here is a card made for Amy challenge over at Splitcoast. Challenge was to make the size of the card 3-1/4 x 6-1/2 and to use something clear in the card.

For this card I stamped an image from Sweet Kids stamp set of Crafty Secrets Clear Art Stamps on the inside part of the card. Colored the scene with various Tombow markers. Used a circle Coluzzle to cut the opening on the front of the card and used a circle scallop nestability to frame the circle on the front of the card. Adhered a round acetate from the back and smudged some Glitter snow around the acetate. For the front of the card it randomly stamped snowflakes from StampinUp and Stampendous with Peacock Ink Pad and embossed it with Opalescent Embossing Powder. Sponged the white cs with Peacock, added dots on the scallops and lastly used ribbon on the card.

Stamps: Sweet Kids from Crafty Secrets Clear Art Stamps, snowflakes from StampinUp and Stampendous
Paper: White cs
Ink: Onyx Black Versafine, Peacock and various Tombow markers
Accessories: Acetate, Embossing powder, sticker and ribbon

  1. What a cute scene for this "little" card! Did you find it difficult to make a smaller card?? You don't seem to have quite enough workspace ... but you did a FABULOUS job ... looks awesome!!
