Dreams

July 4th, 2008

On a hot summer day it is always nice to relax and enjoy the slight breeze swinging on a hammock. You can easily fall asleep and dream on and on and on.

This card was made using stamps from the Sweet Kids collection of Crafty Secrets Clear Art Stamp. Image of the little girls in the hammock was stamped 2x in Onyx Black Versafine and colored with Tombow markers. The bottom part of the card is a stamp from Crafty Secrets Bird Lovers Collection which was also stamped in Black Onyx Versafine and colored with Tombow markers. Grassy area is a small grass stamp in Certainly Celery. Trunk of the tree was hand drawn on both sides of the hammock. Branch with leaves (from Bird lovers collection) were stamped around the tree and leaves were stamped several times and popped up for dimension.

Background of the card was sponged with Creamy Brown and Sky Blue. Clouds were made by heavy sponging around a oval scalloped cs with Sky Blue.

Sentiment is from the Sweet Kids Collection of Crafty Secrets which was stamped in Vintage Sepia Versafine on a heavily sponged rectangle cs.
Stamps: Sweet Kids and Bird Lovers- Crafty Secrets Clear Art Stamps
Paper: White and Brown cardstock
Ink: Onyx Black and Vintage SepiaVersafine, Sky Blue, Creamy Brown, Lyra Aquacolors and various Tombow markers

  1. Love the way you used the branch and leaves from Bird Lovers to make trees for the hammock Marisa - great card!
