Here are 2 cards that I made using stamps from the Kitchen Classic of Crafty Secrets Clear Art Stamps.
Image for the first card was stamped on vellum in Black StazOn Ink. Images were colored with Tombow marker and emobossed on the back of the vellum and cut on the borders to make the layers of the cake. Background pink cs was embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. Layered the vellum borders and use ribbon for the layers. Added some Prima flowers.
For the second card embossed a pink cs with cuttlebug embossing folder and cut out to form layers of cake. Stamped border from the Kitchen Classic on vellum with Black StazOn Ink. Then colored the leaves, flowers and scalloped border with Tombow markers. Layered ribbon and the border on the cake. Topped the cake with gown and suit from the Dollar stamp at Michaels. Gown was also stamped on an embossed white vellum. Used same border for the cake on the edges of the card and embossed vellum with Swiss Dots embossing folder for the background.
These are both so cool Marisa!! I have this set but haven't really taken the time to be "creative" with it! You have inspired me to do just that ... thanks! Your work is AWESOME!!! Thanks for sharing!!
I was born and raised in the Philippines, were I live for 26 years. I have four wonderful children.
I am currently work as an analyst and in my spare time I am busy making cards and occasionally do some scrapbooking. I was introduced into scrapbooking about 4-1/2 years ago by my sister who lives in SFO. Started off with just a few supplies and now I have a room to myself for all my stuff. I converted the extension of my laundry area to a haven for my scrapbooking and card making.
