For today's card I used one of the new sets that Crafty Secrets just released - Lucky Wishes. This card was made for today's Technique Lover's Challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers.
Started off by stamping the crystal ball onto white cs with Platinum Planet Brilliance ink and then heat embossing it with Fine Clear Embossing poweder. After that I stamped the sentiment, clover leaf, horseshoe and wish bone. Then I topped it off with clear liquid embossing and let it dry completely. While it was drying, I stamped over 30 dice onto white cs and cut each out with scissors. Then adhered double side Sookwang adhesive to a 4 x 10-1/2 piece of white cs and placed the dice pieces on top. Poured Silver embossing powder on top of this strip, tapped off the excess powder and melted it with a heat gun. Devided the strip into 2 pieces, matted it with black cs and placed it on top and below my card base. Layered a strip of DP from the Radiant Paper design that was sprayed with Silver bells Glimmer Mist. Fortune Teller was stamped on white cs with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with Copic markers. Used a bangle bling on the turban and a clear rhinestone on the ring. Once the crystal ball was completely dried I matted it on top of a black cs that was die cut using the Labels2 nesty. Black piece was also sprayed with Glimmer Mist. Final touch to the card is 3 more bangle blings to the right side of the centre strip.
This was a really fun technique and stamp set to use.
