Birthday Wishes

January 11, 2008

Today, I will be featuring the last of the stamps from the Fairyland stamp set that is now available for purchsed from Crafty Secrets Clear Art Stamps.

This card was made for the Featured Stampers challenge over at Splitcoast Gallery. Today's Featured Stamper is Jaydekay/Judy. You may want to check her gallery out at Splitcoast as she was such beautiful cards. This is the card I selected from her gallery for this challenge.

Fairy with birds was stamped on white cs with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with Copic markers. Randomly stamped the flower vine on the bottom and top right corner of the main panel and colored it again with my Copics. Birthday Wishes was stamped on the top middle section of the panel. Added some green shading with Old Olive by sponging around the stamped image. Added some clouds with Sky Blue by lightly sponging a scallop shaped oval around the image. Cut strip of green cs and used a Martha Stewart lace border punch for one of the edges. Ribbon was tied around the bottom portion of the main panel. Lastly, I added some Kaiser green half pearls around the side and top portion of the card.

Stamp: Fairyland Crafty Secrets Clear Art stamps
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento ink, Old Olive, Sky Blue and various Copic markers
Paper: White and green cs
Accesories: Ribbon, MS Lace border punch and Kaiser Green half pearls

Do check the Heartwarming Vintage and Crafty Secrets Shopatron Website as some of the new stamp set are already available and some will soon be. Do come back to my blog in the next few days, as I will start posting other samples of the rest of the new stamps sets that are either available or will be available soon. You can also check out the blogs of the other DT members who have already started posting their samples.

Enjoy your Sunday!
