Here is a card I made for today's sketch challenge over at Splitcoast Gallery.

For this card, I once more used some stamped images from the Fairyland Stamp set of Crafty Secrets. This set will be released at the Winter CHA in Anaheim.

Bird, Nest with eggs from the Fairyland Stamp set were stamped on white cs with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then colored with Copic markers. Added some glitter to the eggs with a Sakura glitter pen. The Images were cut and mounted on to a DP from the Earthy Paper Design of Crafty Secrets which was die cut with the Labels2 nesty. Added some small flourishes from the Fairyland stamp set. Die cut another piece for the sentiment from the Bird Lovers Stamp Set of Crafty Secrets. The edges were distressed by sponging Faded Jeans Distress ink on the edges. The 2 die cut pieces were mounted onto another DP from the Earthy collection. Pierced the edges and drew some lines to look like stitches. The last background DP is also from the Earthy Collection and on this paper I stamped some feathers. Edges were also pierced and lines were drawn to look like I had stitched it. Finally I added some Prima flowers and punched ferns and some ribbon.

Stamps: Fairyland and Bird Lovers Stamp set Crafty Secrets Clear Art Stamps
Paper: Earthy Paper Design and white cs
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento, Faded Jeans and various Copic markers
Accessories: Ribbon, Labels2 Nestabilities, Prima Flowers, half Pearls and MS Fern Punch

  1. I love the birds and use of flowers. I haven't tried the Copic markers but hope to soon. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
