Today's card is made for the Featured Stampers Challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. This week's Featured Stamper is Lori Craig (Stamp Momma). Check Lori's gallery out, she is a very talented lady.
For this card I used stamps from the just released stamp set from Crafty Secrets - Little Dancer. This is such a fun set to use. They little girls can be made to look like a dancer, ballerina or skater. First I stamped the tutu onto white cs with Tuxedo Black Memento. The I masked the tutu and stamped the little ballerina girl, the crown and the star wand. Colored the images with Copic. Also stamped the ballet shoes colored it and cut the image out. This was matted on to a Bazzil cs that I painted with Terra Cotta Acrylic Paint Dabber to match the background DP. DP used for the background is from Tres Jolie - "Bright Floral" and from Sassafras Lass - "Aye Aye". Added some ribbon to were the 2 DP met, some half pearls, Prima Flowers and some punched ferns. I also sprayed the background DP and Prima Flower with Tattered Rose Glimmer Mist for a little sparkle. On the Tutu I painted a little Angel Wings Shimmerz to make it shine a bit. Sentiment was stamped on top of the Prima Flower.
