August 10, 2008 Here is a card I made for the Featured Stampers challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. Today's featured stamper is Kim and she has an amazing gallery full of beautiful cards. Here is the card I cased from Kim's Gallery.
For this card I used a stamp from the Flourishes and French Mail collection of Crafty Secrets Clear Art Stamps. The flourish was stamped on white cs with Onyx Black Versafine. Colored with Two shades of Pink and Green Tombow markers. The top of the flourish was cut out to match the card I was casing. The edges of the white cs was sponged with Walnut Stain, mounted on to a brown cs and paper pierced around the edges. Layered this on a green DP from Basic Grey and another DP from my pile of scraps. Brads are from Basic Grey and ribbon from Michaels.
Stamps: Flourishes and French Mail Crafty Secrets Clear Art Stamps Paper: Phern from Basic Grey and unknown DP Ink: Onyx Black and Vintage Sepia Versafine, Walnut Stain and various Tombow markers Accessories: Ribbon and Basic Grey designer brad
I was born and raised in the Philippines, were I live for 26 years. I have four wonderful children.
I am currently work as an analyst and in my spare time I am busy making cards and occasionally do some scrapbooking. I was introduced into scrapbooking about 4-1/2 years ago by my sister who lives in SFO. Started off with just a few supplies and now I have a room to myself for all my stuff. I converted the extension of my laundry area to a haven for my scrapbooking and card making.
MISS THANG, I'M SO VERY VERY HAPPY YOU'RE ON THE TEAM! YOU ARE SUCH A TALENTED THANG, you're gonna do the team proud! :)
