OK, it has certainly been a very long time since I last posted anything to this blog. No, I have not been lazy. My computer has been acting up for awhile now that I had to restore it to factory settings. Along with that was trying to set it up to a point that I could have all the programs I needed to scan, edit and post. So without further adew here are some projects that I made for last weeks and this weeks Crafty Secrets Forum challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers.
Both these projects use images from the Creative Scraps of Crafty Secrets. These image scraps are so handy to use for quick cards or projects. All you need is a little bit of imagination, images from the Creative Scraps and you are set to go.
The first project uses images from the Garden Creative Scraps. This was done for last weeks recipe challenge to use Pleats, Buckle and Jewels. Used a Sweet Chips Chipboard for the base which was covered with DP from the Pastel Paper Designs of Crafty Secrets. Adhered the image from the creative scraps, added ribbon and some bling. Adhered pleated ribbon from Michaels all aroung the edge of the chipboard.
For the second project, image is from the Girlfriends Creative Scraps. This was matted onto DP from the Earthy Paper Designs. Ribbon was colored with Sepia Copic markers to match the DP. Flower and twigs was done using Flower Soft and tied with DMC thread. Did some faux stiching along the edges and finished off the card with some vintage looking buttons.
Thanks for looking,
Marisa
