Family - Crafty Secrets/Glimmer Mist March Mix

March 16, 2009

Wow, it is now the third week into the Crafty Secrets/Glimmer Mist March Mix. Today I have a project to share with you.

I made this frame, using Renaissance Alphabets & More Heartwarming Vintage Booklets. I cut the letters to spell FAMILY, distressed the edges with a distressing tool and then sponged it with Walnuts Stain and mounted it on to chipboard. The background paper is from the Classic Paper Designs pad that I sprayed with Tattered Rose, Coffee Shop and Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist. I distress the edges with a distressing tool and then sponged it with Walnut Stain. Then stamped some flourishes from the Flourishes stamp set with Walnut Stain. Added the work Family to the background paper and a stickers from Family Matters. Between the frame and the main image I added some Vintage lace. The whole background piece and frame was then sprayed with Irridescent Gold Glimmer Mist.
Dimension of the inside of the frame is 10"x5".

Do check out the blogs of the other ladies who are sharing some of their projects with you today.
