Well today's Limited Supply Challenge at Splitcoast was Game, Set, Match. Had to make 3 cards with these conditions:
Stamps ~ any, but must be the same for each card.
Cardstock and Ink ~ any, but must be the same for each card.
Techniques ~ any, but must be... ok, do you see the pattern here??
Embellishments ~ you must use hardware (since we were deprived last week, hehe!) and ribbon only, but must, yep, you guessed it, be the same for each card.
So here are the 3 cards that I made.
Stamp is from Hero Arts - Flourish Flower. DP is from Melissa Frances Amanda. Used Lyra Aqua Color for the main image which was stamped 2 times per card. Second stamped image was cut and layered on top of first.
Forgot to post card I made yesterday for the Way to Use it Get Packing Challenge. Anyway here is the card I came up with.
So, I cheated a bit. The main image is not stamped, and is paper from the Hit the Beach Collection of Flair Design - On the Boardwalk. Used different shell stamps for the corners of the image. Hope everyone has a great summer vacation.

Sending You Sunshine
May 28th, 2008
This was for today's sketch challenge at Splitcoast. Most of the stamps used in this card is from Seaside by Crafty Secrets. The sand in layered 2 times and stippled with creamy brown. Ocean was heavily sponge with Aquatic Splash, Sea Breeze andOcean Depth. Sky also was sponge first with Aqua all over except for the sun which I masked. Second layer of the sky was sponge with Cyan and used scallops to mask the clouds. Last layer of the sky was done using Peacock. Sun was sponged with Summer Sun. Added little birds and larger birds. Added the lighthouse and watercolored it with grey/black. Each of the seashells were stamped individually and colored with a variety of colors (seashell, burnt sienna, papaya cream, pixie dust, creamy brown with blue/green and yellow highlights. Cut each image out and randomly placed them along the sandy beach. Seagull was stamped in Black StazOn on white cs. Used rope around the diamond with was sponged with Aqua. Sentiment is from MFT By the Seashore which was stamped on cs sponged with Aquatic Splash.
I totally enjoyed making this card.

It's been a long, long time.
May 27th, 2008
It's been a long, long time since I last posted. March 24th to be exact. Oh my, I have been so busy trying to keep up with the challenges at Splitcoast.
I will try hard to keep this blog up-to-date with the cards I have been making. I learn a lot when I try the challenges at Splitcoast and have noticed that there is a drastic change to my style of cards. I really like the progress I have been making and continue to find new inspirations.
Today I made 2 cards. The first one is for today's color challenge to use Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla and Sage Shadow. Base for the cs was very vanilla which was sponged heavily with Sage Shadow. Edges of the frame was distressed with Chocolate Chip. Stamped images are stamps from the Dreamer collection of Heidi Grace. This was stamped with Chocolate Chip and white highlights were added to the tips of the wild flowers.
The second card is for last weeks color challenge. My internet was down so I was not able to play. Challenge was to use Soft Sky (Bashful Blue), Blue Bayou (Night of Navy) and Certainly Celery. Well the only color that I had out of all that was Certainly Celery, so I had to substitute the others for Ocean Depth and Sea Breeze. That is as close as I could get to those colors. Background paper was home made with stamps from Hero Arts - Buds and Stems. Idea I got from Eleanor's Stamping Blog. Centre image is from Tricia Santry Studio - Garden Borders.
